Lebron James Named Sports Illustrated Sportsman Of The Year

Miami Heat superstar Lebron James was named Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year.  Recognized as the premier talent of his generation, James reached new heights in 2012 becoming just the second player to win a NBA championship title, MVP, and an Olympic Gold Medal.  Lebron James earned this latest accolade.  You can read Lebron’s full SI story  now by clicking the link.  For a hardcopy, the issue hits stores tommorrow.   2. LOL!! @Keebs. Congratulations to him. I dated a guy that grew up with him and is still friends with him. He says he’s a pretty down-to-earth guy. I know people either love him or hate him, but hey, that’s what keeps you relevant.

  6. Loving it! People hate on him cause he’s not Kobe. Kobe has never made the list. Various women – to include the US Women’s Soccer Team – Tiger Woods and even Lance Armstrong have enjoyed the distinction. Bu t no one would ever confuse Kobe for a sportsman.
